My paintings are filled with juicy colors and bold brush strokes. I often begin with a brush, but I usually end with a pallet knife.
My photography highlights every day, people, places, and things. I’m asking the viewer to take a minute to slow down and really see and appreciate the beauty that is all around them. I can customize each photo by zooming in
until the image becomes an abstraction of what it originally was.
I like to work outside in all kinds of environments as well as in the studio. I live in San Marco
with my husband, Jim, who is also an artist.

The environment has always been a special interest of mine. Florida became my adopted state in the early 70's when I set the criteria for buying environmentally endangered lands for the state.
I paint to capture the enduring beauty and strength fragile, natural, historical and cultural treasures. I paint in all mediums, but I particularly enjoy the liquid, lasting, and spontaneous qualities of water colors. I would describe my style as fanciful realism.
I am an award winning artist, Naval Academy graduate, Viet Nam veteran, and I live in San Marco with my wife, Mimi, also an artist.
