My paintings are filled with juicy colors and bold brush strokes. I

My photography highlights everyday people, places, and things.
I’m asking the viewer to take a minute to slow down and really see
and appreciate the beauty that is all around them. I can
customize each photo by zooming in until the image becomes an
abstraction of what it originally was.
I like to work in the studio and outside in all kinds of environments. I
live in San Marco with my husband, Jim, who is also an artist.

Biography:
The environment has always been a special interest of mine.
Florida became my adopted state in the early seventies
when I set the criteria for buying environmentally
endangered lands for the state.
I paint to capture the enduring beauty and strength of
Florida’s fragile, natural, historical, and cultural treasures. I
paint in all mediums but I particularly enjoy the liquid, lasting,
and spontaneous qualities of watercolors. I would describe
my style as fanciful realism.
I’m an award-winning artist, Naval Academy graduate, and
Vietnam veteran. I live in San Marco with my wife, Mimi, who
is also an artist.
